An invitation to examine, question & serve

Ancient Faith.
Modern Questions.

TEST EVERYTHING.

Return to the sources. Ask difficult questions. Examine scripture and history with intellectual humility. Then put faith into action—one neighbor at a time.

A place to begin

Faith worth examining.

No question is unwelcome. Explore the first-century world, read scripture in context, and consider how ancient teachings meet modern life.

01 / ORIGINS

The Earliest Church

What did the first followers of Jesus believe, practice, and debate?

02 / INQUIRY

Test Every Claim

Examine evidence, interpretations, and competing perspectives without fear.

03 / PRACTICE

Faith in Action

Feed the hungry. Welcome the stranger. Make compassion tangible.

Our guiding principle
“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.”
1 Thessalonians 5:21 · King James Version
Questions welcome

Nothing off the table.

These are starting points for thoughtful study—not declarations that every debate is settled.

Here, “primitive” means returning to the origins of the faith: the teachings of Jesus, the apostolic writings, and the earliest Christian communities. It does not mean rejecting careful scholarship or modern questions.
Questions can be a form of serious engagement. We aim to examine sources honestly, acknowledge uncertainty, and distinguish what a text says from how people interpret it.
Compare claims with scripture, historical context, evidence, and the fruits of practice. Invite criticism, correct errors, and hold conclusions with appropriate humility.
No. Believers, skeptics, historians, and curious visitors are welcome to explore respectfully.
Beyond the argument

A shovel.
A sandwich.
A living faith.

Study matters. So does service. Our vision joins open inquiry with practical compassion: food for the hungry, dignity for the overlooked, and meaningful work for those who want to help.
